Making The Blogs and Individuals' Discussion Boards More Visible

Giftbearer said Oct 20, 2007, 12:43 PM:

I have noticed that recently there have not been alot of views on my blog and no responses on the discussion board I started 13 days ago and am thinking that there must be something that is hard to navigate which prevents  people from finding these areas. My other blog on blogspot is getting at least 10 new viewers per day, yet the one here seems to be somewhat off the radar. One guy contacted me after reading my blog awhile back, maybe 2-3 weeks ago but that was it.

The changes when Business Pro came along were kind of confusing and they kept changing, so I'm not 100% certain what features I ended up with.

I am not sure whether or not those changes to the operations of things might have made my sections harder for the general Zaadz community to find. I notice now below each post there is some sort of box which asks who to share with. My “friends” are listed in there automatically, but I'm not sure really what that does or how it affects my visibility. Does this mean I have to manually add each pod in order for them to see my areas or does it mean something else?

I am all for any improvements that will make these areas easier for people to locate and less cut off from the other sections of Zaadz.

hi Giftbearer,

first of, thanks for sharing your thoughts on your blog. please keep at it.

one possible reason that you have less views on your blog is that you have only 13 friends (as of this writing). this limits your potential audience. the more friends you have the more potential readers you'll have. however, this is not to say that you have to add friends and treat them as “audience.” ideally, we should treat our friends as people we “converse” with and not just “audiences.”

so one way of promoting ourselves is to meet people whom we can converse with (e.g. like-minded people on Zaadz). here's how to do it:

HOW TO: Meet Interesting People on Zaadz

and here are more tips on how to make ourselves more visible on Zaadz.

TIP: How To Make Yourself More Visible on Zaadz

this takes patience and time. but if we keep up on building it, they will come :)
