option to give multiple seeds at once please?

A lot of times I would like to give the maximum number of seeds for a great post but it's very awkward to keep clicking and waiting and clicking and waiting. Couldn't we have a one-to-five seed option?
When the server is being its slowest, it doesn't really affect me much - I've learned to compose in notepad in case my words get eaten, so I cut and past, click post and go do something else. I don't care how long it takes. But waiting for five seeds to post one at a time is a little frustrating.
Pretty please?
BTW – what are the seeds affecting now in terms of feedback? Anything other than adding another hit point per seed?

I too wonder why it is like this that we can only give one seed at a time for a maximum of five.  There is another thread asking this suggestion but it is never answered why this is so.  I am thinking, could it be the reason for giving seeds one at a time is to generate a count of how active or busy the site is and this statistics will be for the advertisers?  If that is the case I support Gaia but I don't know.  Just baffled or curious.  : )

Maaaathew…. here we are again! LOL My new question regarding these seeds…

Is the number of seeds sown, 151,291 as is showing at the top of my screen, the number since the seed system was started, the number for the year, month, day? If we have 200,000 plus members now and even half of them were active and gave a seed that would be 100,000 seeds adding up pretty quickly.

The number of seeds sown looks large but I'm thinking it's actually quite small because the ones who would drop them all over the Gaiasphere are opting not to deal with them. First, because they don't see what the results are when they do drop the seeds. Second, they are frustrated by the tedious business of sowning seeds and have decided that the Grapevine is a much faster way to show recognition and one that is visible to all. Third, hmmm… what Samme said?! ~grin~

Yeah I like the seeds, I just see that you gotta get rid of them or they keep piling up…it's a messy buissness the seeds, I  usually do 5 in one go to new friends, so I do a big love and a great stuff one after the other and that gets rid of 5, it's probably best they cap the main  page at 5, otherwise  everyone would just use that option to dump seeds, because you can't dump all the seed that way means you got  to read the stuff they write and if you like stuff you can give another seed, if I want to give someone more than one seed for a peice of work , I just keep adding seeds one after the other…as for changing, it cost money and I understand they have a limited budget, so I'm just greatful for whats available and happy to be a part of it, if it changes  I suppose I will get used to the new system eventually, anyhow, thats all I had to say about seeds, other than is there a seeds league table, to see who sows the most seeds or would that create an unethical competetive seed  cartell, its  a messy business the seeds, but, I kind of love it anyway as it is. Thank you

Thanks for chiming in on this panwithin and nicole! I'm off to drop seed hugs on you both in an attempt to dig myself out from under the seed pile and to let you know that I appreciate your input on this subject… it's one of my 'Biggies' when it comes to changing things… silly, I know.

I simply like to use the seeds as hugs for my friends and to elevate the wonderful content I find in the Gaiasphere to the top of the heap!

I like giving away seeds because I've already given 5 to the people I know,
so it gives me initiative to surf around and find new people that are participating.

If they show up “today” and have a pleasant & active page,
 I hear HIT ME!  ;-)

I've not seen any change in this so I want to reiterate - sometimes when the server is slow it can take quite a while to reload the page when you give a seed. Giving five is asking for a lot of patience. I really wish I could just click on giving five seeds (or at least the same options that are on the profile page) because otherwise sometimes I can be too lazy to bother with them at all. Also, I'm wondering if they're used for anything beyond the additional page hits they bestow? And I really wish that little box that tells me that this is going to use one of my seeds had a “don't tell me this again” option, because adding that extra step five times seems silly.
