Hi,

My name is Tom, or you can call me Tomas. This is my first post after reading about seeds. I did have a comment. A section of the information talked about removing posts to gain seed accrual. That never occurred to me. I tried Facebook for a while. A cousin had asked me to join. I found myself deleting posts because I was insecure about myself or what I had written.

I'm going to give this a try and start planting some seeds.
I just wanted to start by thanking you all for letting me into your garden to plant seeds. I promise to watch where I step and respect all of your creations and flora. I take my shoes off when I enter ones home out of respect. I promise to carry that spirit in your world also .

Hahaha! Oh that's priceless, thank you for gifting me with this laugh. I will never again personify a think tank from a military perspective anymore, thank you so much for this :) I just got out of the Army a couple months back, guess I'm still operating in that crazy mindset, but I appreciate the reprogramming.

LOL ! I always thought of a thinktank as like a fishtank! Put a bunch of fish together in a closed environment and see what they can think up together!

I suggest we change the name from 'think tank' to something more peaceful. What about 'think apparatus' or 'think collective'?

Any other suggestions on another vessel for our thoughts?

I think it would be a really wonderful idea to create an IRC chat for Gaia.
I absolutely love chatting casually to people and I think it would be a great way to really help to build connections as well as get new people interested in the website.
I could set up the IRC chat and help run it as well. We could put a java version on the site and let everyone know how to access it via mIRC or other IRC applications.

I reallly think we need a chat here. :)

Hey gais, this is a great suggestion! Both of our developers have their hands a bit tied at the moment. So, we'll probably have to post-pone functional code changes for a bit. But feel free to keep honing the idea here.

Meerkat, I do know what you mean...I was editing (patching a video that was no longer available) and found myself back at the default first page of by blog..grrrrr, Ooops :-)

Opening two browsers on the blog being edited is the only way i've found to keep my place.

When I edit an older blog, the page refreshes to the default, which is the current blog page. We need it to stay at the blog being worked on, so we know if more changes are needed and so on.

~Mathew I was all grumbly but thank Gaia for this Think Tank, where we can turn our grumblies into rumblies ideas in Gaia's tummy immense brain [sorry- having a Pooh moment here]

So here goes:

When I try to update the Settings on "My Locations[which I guess is a new feature?] it keeps coming back to the main profile page so to see if the changes 'took', I've to scroll down again- click settings -c lick my locations and ...

Can the page refresh when we click Save AND stay?
