Excellent question, Soul. Moving from the superficial "worth" as money or properties into the spiritual realms, worth becomes harder and harder to quantify or compare, IMO

Love,

Nicole

I published a book on the topic of worth. I'm wondering, "How do YOU define worth? How does worth evolve in nature as your spiritual side blossoms?
Namaste
Soul

That one's got me stumped!

How do we know what we don't know?

How many things do we think we know that we really don't?

How many things do we think we don't know that we really do?

Great question, Denim...
      All!

I just wanted to pop in and say that I do read each of these and that I love the creativity and curiosity of so many of them. It's important to me that the questions that get sent out in the Q&Rs stay relatively positive and forward-thinking and uplifting or supportive (it feels to me that it's easy to hear "what's wrong with the world" in day to day conversation) and that they're fairly introspective, too (I do get curious about what everyone's eaten for breakfast, and have thought about doing a Q&R series that was a little more Q and a little less R, but for this particular incarnation I like those best that push for a bit of a deeper discovering). So if your question hasn't appeared, that's likely been the reason... :)

I've just started a Question and Reflection Group, though, where you can pop in and post your own questions, and answer those that others have posed. Please pop by and check it out, and if you've already proposed a question here, I'd be fabulously grateful if you came and contributed it over there as well.

      ...i came across this funny ( & how true ! ) quote in a daily :

" What women want : To be loved , to be listened to , to be desired , to be respected ,

to be needed , to be trusted , and sometimes , just to be held .

What men want : Tickets for the world series !! ."

-- Dave Barry

This quote set me thinking --and so my questions are quite simple :

1) What women want in life ?

2) What men want in life ?

-jagadish

      What is the mind?

Note: We hear the mind mentioned the whole time and I have even seen a scientific documentary about the mind in which they only talked about the brain. If we listen to ourselves and others we will hear the vast number of things we do with or to this thing - but what is it? Define it!

siona -- that's my favorite thing about the QAR too -- seeing all the different answers to the same question. when I get a chance to read all the answers for a given question, I inevitably learn something or remember something that I had forgotten. often there is a thread of similarity running through as well.

grief- how can one get beyond it when it is so overwhelming. i just lost my 2nd mom suddenly & so much was left unsaid, undone. an amazing spiritual light was taken from us so young, & my siblings & I are at a loss for how one can see the good in it.

Agreed, rapunzel. It's a fine line between asking overly specific (getting "Yes" as an answer isn't terribly interesting), or leading / assuming ("How do you feel about the fact that our world is falling apart?") questiosn, and those that are too vague; the reason I like erring on the side of the latter is that they act as much more of a projection screen, and I love seeing how the same question can be interpreted in so, so many different ways. It's eye-opening, and humbling, to learn about how people 'hear' the same set of words. :)
