Yes I consider this a bug! Can I please personally speak to the genius who implemented the feature whereby when I hit 'return' it does not take me to the next line, NO NO! it for some entirely illogical reason skips a line and puts me there. So I can ask him/her why the hell they implemented this. It's like it does not deem that I have the fucking intelligence to make my own goddam mind up if I want to skip a line or not. This for me has got to be the most annoying feature implemented anywhere. You could make the whole site barby pink for all I care.I couldn't give a shit, just as long as you give me back my right to implement spaces or not! It's a disgrace! Have a nice day! :) |

This must be a bug. I have just been too complacent to post about this, but I have wondered the same thing. |

Yeah, me too, and we ARE working on it. In fact, I've seen e-mails from Brian wondering the same thing… We're on the same page, yo! |

hey flex i understand your concerns. but there are a lot of text editors that implement this and it's actually a “feature”. you can always use Shift+Enter if you don't like that extra space :) but i hear yah. there should be some mechanism to turn this feature ON and OFF. will pass this on to our Dev team. ~C |

Oh Thank Zaad! I've been wondering about this myself but keep forgetting to mention it. I spend more time backing up and erasing the extra line. I figured out the shift-enter thing right off but then you have to remember to use it. Blonde! It seems much quicker to enter twice (occasionally) than to consciously shift-enter almost always. |

ok people, you can relax now. try your text-editor and it should have no extra line when you press Enter. you can now type in your poetry without those annoying extra lines :) |
