Hi!

I did read and practice TSK first time in 1984. it was a beautyful and powerful initiation for me. I felt I could breathe more openly….feel without limits and widen my thinking in such a stimulating way.

For sure this is absolutely true even right now for me.

Hi, Albert, welcome!

Yes, I have experienced it in a similar way – it invites such openness.  It is a quiet and little known vision, but such a powerful one that has also fed and nourished my Integral studies.

Looking forward to talking and sharing with you.

Best wishes,

Balder

Hello Albert and Erin,

Happy to see you both here.

Funny thing Erin, just as you posted your note here, I posted something TSK related on my Blog mentioning your name in the footnote thanking you.  Check it out here.  You'll recognize the art work.  :-)

Best wishes,

David

Hello all,

I've read Lighting up the Now (from Almaas's book; thank you Bruce) and have some comments and questions I'll post soon.

David,

Thrilled you enjoyed Vernet's work!  I scanned your entry and was delighted to see her pieces.  Going back now to read more deeply…

It's good to be here,
Erin

One question:

As far as I can see Tarthan Tulku -from the Tibetan Nyingma school of Vajrayana Buddhism -devloped this aproach. Is it still connected in this way?

Best,

Albert

Hi, Albert, yes, it is.  Though Tarthang Tulku did say that he had no particular “claim of ownership” on TSK and that he hoped others would continue to develop the vision in their own ways.

A.H. Almaas, the originator of the Diamond Approach teachings, is the author of the book we were just discussing.  He used to study with Tarthang Tulku and he recommends the TSK books to his own Diamond Approach students, so there is a relationship between some of his writings and the TSK literature.
