Thank you, Erin -- I like it too. It is a close-up image of a moth's wing. I chose it, obliquely, because of the association of the moth, in some shamanic traditions, with wisdom and knowledge...

...and because it reminded me of the weave, perhaps, of a coat of many colors...

Balder, I really like the latest addition to the Gallery. My first thought was it reminded me of ribbon candy I enjoyed as a kid on weekend drives to Amish country.

I loved this part of the accompanying excerpt:

"As we begin our inquiry, let us imagine that we are donning the silken robe of Knowledge, a coat of many colors -- a magical garment that gives us warmth, comfort, aesthetic delight, and a sense of deep refinement."

Knowledge does indeed offer delight and comfort :)

Thank you,
E.

It's not the answer I anticipated, but it's the answer I like the best!

Thank you!
E.

I hope this is the obvious answer you anticipated...

Any image that moves you!

:-)

Okay, maybe the answer is obvious, but not to me :)

So I'll ask: I'd like to contribute a couple of images but one is a captured image of internet activity resembling a nebula and one is a painting. My question is - would they be congruent with the gallery images or should I stick to photographs of microscopic images?

Thank you!
E.
