I just wanted to thank Barin for giving me the privilege of co-moderating this pod. I saw that several of the past moderators had left Zaadz, and volunteered to help out. I have been a member of the pod for several months, and have been a UU for about a year and a half.

One thing I have done here is to re-organized all the message threads into a set of Discussion Boards. The idea is to keep the home page of the pod clean and simple, to make it easier for newcomers to navigate, and to also make it easier for long time members to find old discussion threads. I hope this is a positive move. Please feel free to give your feedback on the Discussion Boards.

Well, Diane, as you say life takes many turns. I was very active in the Pittsburgh UU and social justice community until I had to relocate from there to South Bend, IN last month. Now starting up some new projects within the UU community here - and my life plan is to leave current profession and enter training for UU ministry in about a year and a half. Am... reasonably active here on Zaadz. SO,,,,, consider this my application to step up to Mod. Look at the kinds of things I have on my blog, read my profile - you decide whether that works for you and for this pod.

When I told Zoe I'd help moderate this pod, I had no idea the turns life would take -- all good!! -- that would prevent me spending much time at Zaadz. Actually the handwriting's been on the wall for awhile, and I really haven't been around much since November! I kept thinking I'd be back, but really, I'm probably not going to be.

I hope someone will step forward to help co-moderate this pod with Barin.

I've also ok'd Barin, as I think he would be a remarkable addition. You can work out any details, if that need be done. I think you'll do fine.

So many truly remarkable members here. You will do beautiful work, and I look forward to visiting and contributing as I can.

As it is, there is no official "leader" - but that's kinda the Zaadz way - we're all in this together. Diane, Barin, myself...we're "admin" - so what w/o contribution, activity, interest of the others?

Well, Zoe, I always say, it's not who throws the party that makes it a success, it's who comes! You've already gathered the crowd and put out some food, so I think you've done the important stuff.
