so a little "unstickiness" this morning. i woke up and, for an hour, wrote part of a treatment for a screenplay i've been wanting to create. a whopping 4 paragraphs!!! big deal, right? nevertheless, because of that little movement, I AM NOW A WRITER...because i've done it. ofcourse, there's much more to do but it has to start somewhere. for me, it just happened to be today.

i think the biggest thing was watching "No Direction Home" (Martin Scorcese's documentary about Bob Dylan) last night. Dylan. now there's an artist. not much kept him stuck for very long for the length of an entire decade. in his light, writing for one hour didn't seem like too much to ask.
