I'll Start....

jodi said Mar 20, 2006, 6:09 PM:

I'm looking to grow the subscribership to my weekly inspirational (and sometimes kick in the pants) coaching email.  It's brief, juicy and (if I do say so myself) well written.

Here's how you can help:

1) Subscribe yourself.
2) Forward one of my emails on to your friends/neighbors/relatives/co-workers so they can subscribe.
3.) Hook me up with companies or organizaitons who might be interested in co-branding my email to send to their employees or members.

Thanks!

Hi there Jodi,

Maybe, in the interest of creating synergy here, we can help each other. :-)

I have a company that makes a product called Life Balance(TM), which is software that runs on Palm OS, Macintosh and Windows, and Windows Mobile too soon) which helps people to balance career and personal life (by making sure that you are working on what’s really important to you and that you are spending an appropriate percentage of your time and effort where you want to.) The software dynamically adjusts your task list based on feedback from what you check off, so if you spend all you time on tasks related to “work,” some “play” tasks will start to show up on your list to encourage you to switch gears. Ultimately, the software helps people to gain that feeling of living authentically, knowing that they are on track because all their tasks contribute to their long term goals and aspirations.

I might be interested in using some of your content with our customers, or publishing articles on our web site to help you gain exposure. I have writers guidelines that I created a long time ago for one section of our site, and that might be a good place to start, or you could send me a sample article that you think would be apropos, and we could see how it goes.

Of course, being entrepreneurial, I’m always looking for ways to let people know that we exist too. Getting heard above the “noise” can be tough! (I have said that sometimes I feel like a Who from Horton hears a Who! “We are here! We are here! We are HEEEERE!”) Word of mouth is still really critical because my marketing budget is pathetically small! :-)

I’m interested in working with you and other coaches because you all tend to understand what we’re about and what we’re trying to do – to offer a tool to help people stay on track between sessions with a coach, or on their own if they feel comfortable being more self directed.

I also think that our community of customers will benefit from the participation of more coaches. I would love to have articles written by coaches so that our customers gain a better insight into who they might like to work with. We have been working on a referral program, so that we can put our customers in touch with coaches who are familiar with our product line.

Best wishes,

I’m new to zaadz, and this is my first “podpost,” so here goes….I’m trusting that it links back to me somehow. :-)

WOW! That is awesome!

In fact, I just sent a link to one of my clients.  I've been trying to develop a VERY clumsy excell file for him that sort of does a few of the things your software does.  He just bought a Palm, so he'll LOVE it.
