Through the daily practice of meditation, which accesses higher vibrational states, permanent and useful insights may be obtained. Higher thought, or constructive thinking at higher levels, is a powerful problem solving tool. Hermits, through the ages, were consulted because of their solitude practice, for advice on difficult questions or issues. There was something about this practice of thinking in solitude, with nature for inspiration, which led these people to become wise. Of course, these days solitude can be hard to find for most, in busy lives, so the practice of any meditational technique, on a regular basis, can bring out answers to issues at higher levels. Would anyone like to discuss an idea about a complex problem of today, which could be resolved just by meditating on it, or has had experience with an AHA! moment, after any vibrational therapy? |

I don't find meditation - as in purposefully stilling the mind - to be all that helpful for me. I receive much more insight and guidance by simply putting questions out there and listening for the answer. Some come immediately, as if in a dialogue, and other times they come at the most unexpected times. |

Good point, Lorraine. This is also very valid. Not everyone actually likes meditation, in the classical sense of the word. Many people do working or walking meditation – they used to do the latter in labyrinths. They are also using this technique of walking labyrinths and meditation for altzheimer's sufferers, to trigger memory. There seem to be some surprising results. And there's that thing of over thinking. How can we stop that, ARGH! |

I'm not so sure the goal is to stop over thinking. I see the intent more so as to change the type of thinking we engage in. |

Lorraine, I think I want to hear more on that topic. Can you add more? It's interesting… |

Fascinating, Lorraine. The horizontal way of thinking makes a lot of sense, and I think I am reading you right when I say it's intended to be more inclusive. Is this right? |
