Sharing wealth

Golden said May 2, 2007, 2:10 PM:

I would like to dedicate this space to the sharing of our wealth. For example I work in the alternative healthcare field so I have a wealth of information on this topic. In fact I approach all aspects of my life from this perspective, the aspect of integration and healing. As I take in new information this is the filter I put it back out into the world through.

What I want to know about everyone else is where is your wealth, maybe its in money, animals, plants, people or just a mish mosh of everything. I also want to know how you put this information back out into the world, how do these perspectives help you, how do they hinder you and how do they help others.

Does a wealth of experience count?

Since I have been meditating for a long time, my wealth is about the connection with all kind of energy around me. I flow with grace that is how I put it back into the world. I feel oneness with things and it feels complete, nothing matter.

Golden,

What a wonderfully refreshing question for you to ask in terms of “wealth”.

For me true wealth lies in that which will last forever - relationships of all kinds.  The interactions i have with others - I am often transformed in an instant from something another says that resonates to my core and vice versa.  If you really think about, as we relate, love, enjoy, disagree, make amends we are all lifting one another in some way and serving each other.

When we touch or are touched by another it lives on through the generations.  Material things pass away but connections of the heart never die.  I realized this when I was quite young because my Grandmother would pull out the old photos (some were so old they were made of tin) and tell me stories of my ancestors.  She told the stories from her heart and it reached mine.  I loved these family members that I never knew in physical form.  My Nanna passed on to me who they were and how they touched her life, which touched my life and so on.   Our interactions with others live forever.

Every day I facilitate others in trusting who they truly are and understanding that they know the truth and hold the answers within.  This is my wealth in my profession and I do think about how this affects not only them but the lives of others around them and how it will pass on from them.

As I think about it, the other wealth I have is that I have the ability to grow and learn from all my experiences, both joyful and sorrowful.  Even if something seems horrible to me I will always find the gift it has given me and am able to let anger and resentment go.  Sometimes it takes longer than others but I always come to the place that I am deeply grateful and know I have been given a gift.

There is more but these are the most important to me.

I agree Deb the connections of the heart shall outlive us and all of our things, I am grateful that you brought this up. Your posts are always great. I have had similar experiences with my own nana showing me pictures and talking about the early days of my family being here. Those are moments that I have a strong connection with I love when my family comes toegether and we share those stories.

Aphinya Thank you for sharing your love of meditation, where did you learn and what are some your experiences. Is there anything that you could share with us that might be able to turn someone on by tuning in.

The universe is comprised of stories NOT atoms & sharing wealth IS as you have ALL said sharing ONEself - which IS the process by which ALL our collections of stories interconnect & inter-relate with each other.

I've been getting into some great stuff recently within the context of my own work and clientele. I find that when I begin working with people who have been traumatized that they are often re-creating higher levels of tension and drama in their private lives. From the LOA perspective this makes great sense, at the moment they are heavily aligned with this paradigm in fact they seem to be attracting from the cellular level. The boy is in pain, the mind is frantic the relationships are tense, the food choices are poor everything that could possibly feed the cycle is.

Then I began to think of this from the perspective of food just because of how deep our relationship with it runs. How do we attract from the cellular level with our food choices. What happens to our food before it is brought to us. What happens to us as food literally becomes a part of us. What is this message that combines with that we then reverberate back out into the world. From this perspective I find  the raw foodist movement, the vegetarians and the free range organic meats. I notice that when I adhere to eating these foods I feel light and open. When I get busy I notice the food choices become secondary and often tertiary decisions as do many other imporatant concious decisions.

Of course others have already put much work into this idea, but I am looking too put this together in a very unique way bringing conciousness to the very fiber of our being our cellular level. Let me Know what you think!

Wealth, to me, is the understanding that the Kingdom of Heaven is within me just as Jesus said.  Not a Kingdom far away or to be utilized after death but a real-time factor in Now.  This world is the Kingdom of Feelings that create from the core of my being.  What I send out and focus on I receive back.  Pure justice and perfect feedback of that which I truly am.   What is within me is the treasure.  I can focus on the past and recreate it but I choose to live in Now and focus on a new world of Love and Peace that works for everyone, everywhere.  I can use my Kingdom to create this.  I do not care who I was yesterday or who I knew for my life is ever going forward,  making known the unknown ,not repetition.– That has taken a while to learn and perhaps it does not suit everyone here but I am so happy to be in harmony with that understanding.

Thnk you all for some wonderful posts. Thre is no doubt that the word wealth is synonymous with money and yet in our hearts we know that money is merely a means to an end and ultimately an illusion.

Look at “wealthy” individuals like Bill Gates or Warren Buffet.wealthy beyond anyone's imagination. In the end they have had to think of ways to give it all awa. If only Buffet hadn't waited this long just think what he could have done.

We also use GDP  as a measure of well being for all when we know that it is completely not the case. It wasn't even designed for that but now has become the mantra for all “responsible” finance ministers. We have measures such as the GPI (Genuine Progress Indicator) which deconstruct GDP to try and give us a picture which takes out the “bad” GDP…crime, environmental degradation etc.

We need the same attitude to wealth…….wealth of love in our relationships, communities and societies is not measured. We've locked ourselves into this money box and we're struggling to find the key to open it and escape.

My wealth for me is not how much money i have but my relationships with my family, friends, colleagues, every day people i come across, and my environment. If i am wealthy in that then i am truly rich.

Hello all I would love for someone to share anything that they know about sustainable gardening and lawncare. I have been spending the majority of my time in the yard so I have'nt had time to be here. Again this is a call out for some good organic gardening information so someone step up with their wealth. I look forward to hearing from our co-creative green beans. Thank you

I read a quote recently about money that really stuck in my head:

“There are two ways to be rich.  One, you can amass great wealth.  Two, you can need very
little.  If you need little, then you always have more than enough.”

I have never been friendly with money.  If I have it, I use it.  If I don't have it, I don't worry about it much.  The wealth I am more fond of sharing is the wealth of friendship.  I think I'm particularly wealthy when it comes to my friends and the abundance of adventures, experiences, thoughts, dreams, and possibilities they bring to my life.

Because I treasure friendship so much, I tend to be open to people and see strangers as friends I just haven't met yet.  I think that's one of my favorite things about Zaadz.  This is a community rich in good will and a wealth of sharing.  I always find myself wondering why the larger world can't be more like it.  Or maybe it already is!  Zaadzsters seem open enough to providing each other with resources, information, creative outlets, etc.  If humans the world over can participate in a community  like Zaadz with such open hearts, there are probably millions more out there ready and willing to do the same!
