Down the Rabbit Hole

Katrina said Jun 24, 2006, 2:29 PM:

Has anyone else seen this yet? My husband and a friend and I went to see it last night and I found it just as fascinating as the first movie.

The same concepts were there, but some were more explained and gone into in more depth. I left feeling just as energized as when I saw the first movie.

I really like the information on intention and “creating your day,” and the fact that through the concepts of quantam mechanics there are millions of possibilities to choose from each day.

I'm also struck every time I watch the bit about the neuropeptides and how we can be addicted to our emotions. Powerful.

There are still some screenings of the movie and the DVD (6 discs!) comes out in early August.

Hi Katrina

Yes, I've seen it and loved it. I thought it was going to be a disappointing re-hash as someone had said it is the same story and not a new movie. But I ended up really enjoying it… in fact I thought it was better than the first. Actually, I can't say that because it was only better IF you had seen the first one and integrated it. So it was a perfect and natural progression. I also like the idea of having a slightly different film… you almost feel it is a parallel reality.  The speakers also went into more depth… and wasn't it great to see the pan out of Ramtha smoking a pipe! Very politically incorrect in non-smoking America but it was just so character-full!

As for the addictions… mmmmm… been thinking what I am addicted to. I wonder if the level of addiction in substances like alcohol reflect on emotional addiction. I have never been an addictive person in any way… so does that mean I am less likely to be emotionally addictive or could that just be hiding a complete emotiona ADDICT?

Creating your day is great. I love that part of the first movie the best as it is so empowering. Sort of like directed synchronicity. Had a great experience today on the tube here in London. I am imagining myself as a Tibetan Monk (don't ask… long story) and I get off the tube at Fulham Broadway and just walking through the exit when I pass… you guessed it… a fully robed Tibetan Buddhist monk just standing on the corner. Had to laugh at the cosmic synchronicity.

Hello,

I saw both films and agree that one adds to the other. I the greater detail in discussion was very helpful. I was at the advance screening here in the Twin Cities and people were lined up out the door. The theatre was full and I bet they had to turn away just as many as they sat!

Cheers,

Matt

I liked it better than the first one …I was also better able to “receive” the info when I viewed it. After seeing What the Bleep  the first time with someone who totally REACTED ( not positively to it) I realized that I am addicted to LOVE & the feeling of falling in love  well that plus coffee!! Excellent “AHA moment for me…

I now know I can make some conscious choices when it comes to romantic relationships instead of just falling into whatever comes along.

Great reminder :-)

I thought I would be receiving What the Bleep!? Down the Rabbit Hole from Shift in Action… sadly, I was mistaken… what arrived in my mailbox was a dvd with only the interviews featuring Dr. Dean Radin. It was great… just not what I was expecting… so I visited the official site wanting to order the Quantum Editio… only to confirm what I already knew… it was still only available for US & Canada… worst… there were these fine prints…  Following the theatrical run of the movie in your country, the film will be available for purchase in your area. The challenge is this… I doubt it'll have atheatrical run in Singapore…

Of course they’d have to promise not to cane me…

Interesting – I don't think I've ever met anyone who's never been addicted in any way. I've been addicted in almost EVERY way. No, not to the really bad stuff (drugs, etc.)

But I knew I was susceptible when I went to a dog race track in Tampa when I was 20 (lo' these many years ago). The rush I got from losing $80 and winning it back scared the bejesus out of me. So I vowed to never gamble again.

Then I went into business…and played the stock market…not gambling, but calculated risk I told myself. And for some it is. For me it is only when my mind's right.

I've been addicted to TV to the point where I had to get it out of the house. Not because I love it so much, but because I liked the numbing effect.

One of the things I'm seeing now is that I'm addicted to chaos – that drives me insane. So I'm ready to let go of that, but it means a total change in my being. Which is god's job, not mine. I just have to let go.

And emotions…Don't get me started.

So, addiction, for me, is prevalent. And I never ever thought I was addicted to anything – except my made up self-image, maybe.

Now, I know my life is driven by my compulsive habits that change my mood to either enhance a feeling or numb a feeling. And that's addiction!

A Strong Frontal Lobe from “how far down the rabbit hole do…?”

dzdreamer said Yesterday, 9:17 PM:

How far down the rabbit hole do you want to go?

What are you doing to strengthen that frontal lobe?

I am taking GIANT leaps of faith.  It hasn't been easy.  I get scared like a little kid and out the window goes all the principles I have been applying about being in a place of joy as I do live by what Esther Hicks mentioned in “The Secret” and know that if I am in a place of joy I attract joy and that when I am in a place of drudgery, I attract drudgery.

So, recently I did it.  I went in with this new idea and was feeling so upbeat and joyous and left feeling so upbeat and joyous.  But the assignment given to me at this meeting left me feeling less than whole and I went back feeling so silly that I didn't have the skills to prove myself.  I keep hoping the right people are going to come into my life to help me along the way.  I 'bleep' these thoughts as I  do “create my day” in the mornings….the afternoons…and the eves…if I am slipping into negative.

So strengthening this 'frontal lobe' as mentioned in Bleep 2 really is getting into it now.  I mean, Bleep one was elementary…but Bleep two….whoah!  I am in High School now and the teachers expect more…am I ready?  This stuff is about having fun!  I do know I am on the planet to have fun!

Any thoughts?

Namaste,
Denise Z.

You ought to read the white book by Ramtha.  It puts a lot of what you're saying into perspective, or at least it did for me.  When I realized, as Ramtha elucidates, that we are here to experience everything, absolutely everything, then it changed my perspective.  Its a pretty all encompassing book too.  Another good read is the newer version of the What the Bleep book.  They put newer stuff in it from the scientists that were also added to the Down the Rabbit Hole version.

Nice :) you are getting there,
Just a little feedback:
This is no faith, what was expressed within 'what the bleep' about our perception influencing the reality is real. And proven over and over again. You can even see it for yourself.
'the frontal lobe' is the part of your brain containing reasoning.

Don't think slipping in the negative is bad. When you do slip in, try to find out why, experience that negative emotion, get the hang of it. make sure you can recal it when necesarry and then leave it harmless behind. Or, Learn from it.

Have a ball :)

I love this concept of time so much! Thanks for sharing! how about sharing it witht he rest of our friends at http://pods.zaadz.com/what_the_bleep_do_we_know/discussions/view/39253

I had some insights yesterday too. Took a pic of a caterpillar close to completing the building of its cacoon last week… was ging through all the pics when I noticed this particular one & it occured to me that we r like that too…

Our human body is like a cacoon our spiritual beings build to sleep & dream in… learn all theses lessons & contemplate on them… when we are finally ready, we begin life as a butterfly… in the Spiritual dimension of this Universe.

it interests me so…….

to share something with you:

I work up this morning and it dawned on me why we have time (an epiphany). Why time moves faster and slower at times. it slows down when we’re aligned with our “drama”, in the illusion of life, and what we’re needing to learn in this lifetime. this can happen many times in one day or a few in a week or once a month or once a year. It can seem like a year because the lesson needs to be a drawn out into such a long story so you’ll get it, it will be repeated if you don’t get it this time round or next lifetime until you do. You know when people say “geez, it went so quickly” because you were having fun and enjoying yourself. When people say geez it went so slowly, its because time in effect created a space for us to be aware and take note of the lesson at hand. But because we’re so focused on the future, we don’t pay attention. We’re not living in the present, which is what God gave to us as a gift and that is why time is slower when things are tougher and you just want time to pass but it doesn’t.

God created man and woman and earth and when he did this, he created time IN ORDER FOR US TO live out our dramas so that we can learn the insights and feelings that we wanted to learn and came here for, in order for us to get closer to realizing our wholeness. So we’re learning these things to show us that we do not have a “lack”. That its there all the time but we’ve just forgotten it.

so on this date today, i can safely say that that is what time looked like to me when i woke up this morning.
am experiencing some lovely insights -
are these not unbelievable reasons to wake up for?
