Moon upon the ocean...

Dwayne [no longer around] said Sep 5, 2006, 9:24 PM:

The ocean is so vast that we cannot place it within a fabricated container of our making. Truth is the same.

Our minds are a container into which we attempt to place reality and truth. Our perceptions are the walls of the container around which we build our idea of what is real. Unfortunately those walls cannot contain the vastness of truth and the universe.

To step out of those walls and into the light of day brings our minds to a new level. We evolve our consciousness to a higher plane of understanding. Our spirit relaxes into the cosmos and allows for expansion beyond our tiny confines of physicality and mentality.

This opening up of the mind to the universe is enlightenment, salvation and revolution in its purest form. Love, unconditioned and unsoiled by our imaginations, can be expressed.

Unfortunately we will continue to stumble and fall on the road of our lives. We will walk down the street and continue to judge a homeless person because thier clothes are more dirty than our own.

BUT, if we immediately see and acknowledge our thoughts as we think them, we have moved ourselves one step towards eradicating them. Without judgement of ourselves we can think the thought, see it, understand it and let it go.

You become POWERFUL through self-reflection and acceptance instead of forcing thoughts deeper into your psyche.

As the moon upon the ocean is reflected, so is our thoughts against the ocean of the universe.

Ayé, good metafore.

The container shelters us from the water. Because people are afraid to get wet, or because they cannot swim, and will drown inside that same ocean. But once you know how to swim, you can go into that ocean, even look at that container yourself, and see how it really looks. Then you can dive, and see all that is already lying beneath the surface, as long as you take the chance to go deep.

Ayé, that is why I play waterpolo ;)
