Hi

I think you may be referring to the Law of Rythm. Like the tide, things move in and out in perfect motion.

THE LAW OF RHYTHM

The tide goes out... night follows day...good times - Bad times.

When you are on a down swing, do not feel bad. Know the swing will change and things will get better. There are good times coming - think of them.

All the generalized rules I am familar with are at http://jointhesecret.blogspot.com/2007/05/secret-law-of-attraction-rules.html

Law reminded me a maxim which reminded me of this homily: "The more things change, the more they remain the same." I guess it's all illusion (probably done with smoke and mirrors).

Goodwill, Gaiabreeze

Change has nothing to do with content, yes we can be content but that does not mean things won't change.

So there is a science above and beyond what we think about a mental and spritual change but lets remeber your body changes.

Would it be wise to say that you are content at 15 years old with your way of thinking and now at 50 years old your thinking has not changed.

Now tell me when is the mind fully content when is the body fully content. We are here to express our desire in phyical manifestation.

Without change you would not be connecting with people online you will be doing it via postal mail.

Were you not content with writing with paper and pen, were the people who had horse and carriage not fully content.

Change is a must if we continue to exist.

Sort of reminds me of the Serenity Prayer..... changing the things we can, accepting the things we can't....and most importantly....the wisdom to know the difference........

peace,
T

      hi yosyama-

The Law of Change, is there such law;

good question - is there such a law?

so what is a 'law'?

15.(in philosophy, science, etc.)
a. a statement of a relation or sequence of phenomena invariable under the same conditions.
b. a mathematical rule.
16. a principle based on the predictable consequences of an act, condition, etc.: the law of supply and demand.

http://dictionary.reference.com/search?q=law

can we say 'a law', in general, is a concept, or collection of inter-related concepts that seek to 'explain' an observation/s?

that is, a law is 'a statement (verbalized concepts) of a relation (association) or sequence of phenomena invariable under the same conditions.'

so, in effect, 'a law' puts boundaries around phenomena? (we could call these collective boundaries the non-'law of change'.)

so, maybe the question becomes - can 'change' be 'change' if it is bordered - begrenzt - 'sequence of phenomena invariable under the same conditions.'?

When Brian and the entire mission of Zaadz says ”We're gonna change the world” .

maybe he was saying that getting people talking to each other, is the only way this world is going to change. so to say that - if we don't get our collective heads out of our collective asses pretty soon and start communicating there ain't gonna be no world to change. zaadz is sort of a node in indras net. a mirror-site where we can begin looking at ourselves and each other. and if he can make a couple of bucks doing it, well why not? ;)

When we say a change, a reform in material, psychological or in any other sense;

we've got it all backwards. when the change is 'a reform in material, psychological' it is only a projection of a modified past. the past being memory, the change being a modification of memory, commonly called thinking.

- when we do have what we want?

when the statement - 'but if we can not be content and fully happy with what we have now, how could we possibly be so then' is made in the discovery of the truth of it. :)

And if we are fully content now; what do we need this change for?

'be in this world but not of it'

Or are we changing no matter what ?

unfortunately, we are not.

the best-
basho

I think we must surrender to and embrace all that is in the moment. It is the only way to truly experience the richness of life. To me that means don't attempt to change any situation, person, etc. in this moment in time. What is the fruit this moment bears for us? I do think we need to have complete acceptance and peace right now but life IS energy in motion. The only constant is change and impossible to stop. So, the paradox is : Resistance to what is or resistance to the forward motion of life (change) are the same thing - blocking the very flow of life (as said - the river of life).

So what happens if in the present moment you are in complete acceptance and peace about your life but you have an epiphany about something.....something you realize is not you? To ignore this would be not accepting where you just moved to while in your state of acceptance.

I just blogged about this sort of thing in my own life. I deal with health issues and I can have periods of time where I am unable to do all that I would like (just been through this, hence my absence here). If I get angry and resist what is occurring because (dammit) we are all supposed to be completely healthy and why can't I manifest this, I find that I get a lot sicker and slip away from my center becoming quite miserable. If I acknowledge that I am not too crazy about it but am willing to embrace and surrender to what is, I get better faster and am able to remain in a state of peace (mostly), recognizing there is perfection even in our perceived imperfection, I am able to gain insight and feel blessed in the midst of it. Now, if my health situation never changes I am certainly in the process of learning to accept and go with the flow of it but I am still open to the possibility that it can leave my life at any moment (even though I am told it is incurable).

Bottom line - I think the difference is in the following:

Non-acceptance driving the motion of change
OR
Acceptance allowing the motion of change

love, Debby

Life is indeed like a river and if everyone could just take a now and feel their own selves in that river we can change the world instantly. Most people do not yet understand the wonderfulness of life lived in that continual flow. Change your beliefs change your world. And live and let live that works for me.
