How poetically and gracefully expressed! I appreciate the discussion here-the inspiration and the peaceful way of embracing and honoring the energy of change.

Thank you all for sharing your Wisdom & Experiences. I am very gratful to be able to learn from each and everyone of you.

I just found some wonderful quotations on Synchronicity and was thinking of which thread to post them in... didn't want to start too many new threads & finally decided to post it here since I have been writing about Synchronicity here...

May these quotations inspire you just as they inspired me :-)

"Synchronicity reveals the meaningful connections between the subjective and objective world." ~ Carl G. Jung

"Synchronistic events provide an immediate religious experience as a direct encounter with the compensatory patterning of events in nature as a whole, both inwardly and outwardly." ~ Carl G. Jung

"The First Insight: Mysterious coincidences cause the reconsideration of the inherent mystery that surrounds our individual lives on this planet." ~ James Redfield

"The intellect has little to do on the road to discovery. There comes a leap in consciousness, call it Intuition or what you will, the solution comes to you and you don't know how or why." ~ Albert Einstein

"These events serve to nurture, support, protect and enhance human life and spiritual growth." ~ Scott Peck

"It is unfathomable power [the fingers of the Morai (fate), or the providence of God] ordering the web of our inner and outer existence." ~ Liz Greene

"They (Synchronicities) demonstrate the unity of psyche and matter, forcing us to transcend our rational, scientific, materialistic attitudes." ~ Mansfield

"There is no such thing as chance; and what seem to us merest accident springs from the deepest source of destiny." ~ Friedrich Schiller

"Synchronistic events offer us perceptions that may be useful in our psychological and spiritual growth and may reveal to us, through intuitive knowledge, that our lives have meaning." ~ Jean Shinoda Bolen

"Chance is perhaps the pseudonym of God when he does not wish to sign his work." ~ Anatole France

"Did blind chance know that there was light and what was its refraction, and fit the eyes of all creatures after the most curious manner to make use of it? These and other suchlike considerations, always have, and always will prevail with mankind, to believe that there is a Being who made all things, who has all things in his power, and who is therefore to be feared." ~ Isaac Newton

Hey,

I will start with the questions that you asked in Part 1:

" What are you most Passionate about in your life? What really matters to you? Are you doing what you love? How can you do what you love?

2. What are you most Passionate about in your work? What aspect of your work do you find to be Energising, EnJOYable & FUN? What do you love about what you do? How can you love what you do?

3. How can you bring your Profession & Passion into alignment?"

1. I am most passionate about coaching people to fulfill on their innermost desire. Typically that shows up as some type of team project that someone is engaged in. I also love coaching people to be in communication with those people they are most afraid and most resisting to be in communication with because I get to have them be super unreasonable. I am also passionate about Tae Kwon Do although what I want to see in the Tae Kwon Do world and what we are doing at the Tae Kwon Do school is starting to be a bit out of sync.

I am not doing what I love full-time. Actually, it occurs that my job is getting in the way of the things I love doing. I can do what I love mostly by marketing myself after work to create a successful coaching business. That will grow into coaching retreats (eco-travel) and also owning my own Tae Kwon Do school.

2. For my full-time job, it really is time to move on. I am taking a class called the Team, Management, and Leadership Program which has allowed me to grow and develop beyond what my job has to offer. So, what would be effective is finding a place of work where I can work with teams of leaders (probably project management, coaching if I can find a place that hires coaches). I say I am in transition phase to building my own business. What I do like about work are the great conversations that I can have with people about their lives and their interests.

3. This will only happen if I can find a company that hires coaches. Other than that, I say what there is to do is get cracking on my business and play that full out as much as possible so I can completely transition to having a full time business that covers my bills. Fortunately, I am taking a class in guerrilla marketing coaching and I will find a mentor who is good at marketing too while keeping in mind my interests. I am not interested in working with someone who is just going to focus on the money aspect of the business.

For part 2:

What are your regrets if you were to die today? If I had any, it would be not following my passion sooner and not using up my full potential.

What is your Heart's desire? My heart's desire is to coach people in fulfilling their dreams especially in the areas of: getting paid what they love to do which usually is a business, taking on projects where they are having a global impact.

Would you be truly Happy if everything remained exactly as they now are for the rest of your life? Nope. I would not like to have the job I have now.

Life is precious, what makes yours worth living? Mine is worth living because each day is my own creation. There is nothing better than creating life moment by moment and having others do the same.

How I work with The Magic Of Transformation:

BAD! align="center">You gain strength, courage and confidence

by every experience in which you

really stop to look fear in the face.

You are able to say to yourself,

"I lived through this horror.

I can take the next thing that comes along."

You must do the thing

you think you cannot do.<br way I am thinking.

Winner thinking as I call it

means no obstacle

no problem

no glitch

deters me from my

Eternal Flow.

I have set the Goals

I plan to stick to them as best I can.

The paintings are selling,

and money is being saved for the

gas for the cross country trip

to get us to our new

home in the country.

My larger goal in this current

life experience is

patience and keeping my self control in check,

I do that by

dialogue with myself daily

about what matters,

where my focus needs to be for the day,

lists of things that need to be done,

Children that need tending,

life that needs living

even while being dedicated

to one goal or focus point right now.

I have to think like an umbrella opened

quick

against a sudden downpour,

it is the empty spot under the

shield

that is most useful

during a Gully Washer.

Be well today,

Think about the way you are thinking.

Winners never quit is a real thing.

Winners just do again.

Find another play that works, run another pattern

they don't throw up their hands every

time they come up against an obstacle in their path.

They figure out, should I go over, under,

or around this thing in my way?

This seemingly large obstacle is

only as important to me

as the level of importance I give it.

If I say "OH my...That's that"...Then that IS That.

If I say well, "what are ten ways I can solve this problem",

it becomes fuel for a creative and usually

successful/meaningful

Flow of answers to develop

and I can pick the best of the crop and

go with that.

Because I am paying attention

to all areas of my life and

taking time to listen

to the quiet voice that speaks only

when the rest of reality is

screaming at high volume

so you really have to listen for it

I call it my Voice of Reason.

Steady and calm,

she says

"Steady as she Goes.

All things are Possible.

If you only train your mind

to desire what the

Situation Demands."

Walking barefoot through my

forest of the unkown

a single flower

in my hand

and hope hops from

tree branch to tree

branch

above my head

and never

stops singing

at all.
<p

Namaste Alex and all the wonderful people in this pod!

Thank you for inviting me, I am truly blessed! I have been away a while, but to come back to such a place filled with such positive energy, wisdom, light is truly a gift........and a coincidence, but we all know about that don`t we!...only synchronicity exists......and serendipity.

I have just started to read Part one and Part 2....wow! I am humbled by the wisdom of You all! But reading is not enough, more of a study that I shall embark on.....Thank You all!

"What would the Suzanne who is 5 years older tell you?".......Truly a life changing statement for me.....I will live every moment of mine thus from now on! I think I always have, but hearing the words gives it so much more credence.

As for passion......``nothing is permanent but change``.....so to me is living in the NOW that`s it , doing the best I can perhaps make one person listen, and change a moment of their lives towards the positive by one word I have said, then truly my life was worth living.

Summed up perhaps in a sentence...``To live every moment of life in love, through love, with love....in gratitude and appreciation ....sometimes I need reminding by souls like all of you, or rather to remember the light and the purpose of being.

`Do not lose power over the what-ifs of your life. These are unlimited and endless. Keep your power in the present time. Your intentions create the reality that you experience. Until you become aware of this, it happens unconsciously. Therefore, be mindful of what you project. That is the first step towards authentic power`.`...Gary Zukav

Love, light, peace...to You Alex...with gratitude,

Suzanne

I agree Stacey, I want to meet people spirit not your image of a Doctor or a Model I want to know your inner workings. I want to hear people express them selfs and see the real natural person. This is a big lession I learned in life I use to be impressed by a person image then when I got to really know them they were not at all what I thought they were, so I learned to get to know the inner workings of people not what they are wearing or what kind of job they have or how big of a house they own. I want to know what makes you laugh and What inspires you in life ? What's your passion ?

                                                         PEACE JOY : )

I would regret not being able to know more people and to know people in an honest way. Not learning about them from a resume or in terms of marital status or employment or political affiliation, but understanding them in a human fashion.

I would regret not being able to connect to people in new ways.

I would regret not asking more people real questions such as what do you do for fun? Who do you talk to when you are hurting? How can we add to one another's lives?

I would love to learn anything I do not know. I read all of the time> I order books online everyday. I have been in college for the last ten years and am working on my Doctorate's. I will never know a drop of all of the knowledge there is to know. But I will learn how to take the knowledge I do learn and use it in ways that are meaningful.

To touch someone's life is to motivate them and to stimulate them. To make them think in a new way if only for a moment. I hope to do that always. That is my heart's desire.

Stacey

Hi Jamie & King,

"What do we find when we 'step into the unknown, the field of all possibilities' and 'surrender ourselves to the creative mind that orchestrates the dance of the Universe'?"

Beyond Possibilities I found even more possibilities. Following my Heart, passion, dream, it was as if my Heart awakens and reconnects with the Heart of the Universe… and my Spirit resonated with this life force that is the conductor of all Synchronicities and Serendipities. Guided by the Universe, there is abundance of possibilities... that is what I have found... & most importantly... to turn possibilities into realities requires focus, discipline, effort & perseverance. In fact, someone once told me that perseverance is the true measure of faith...

Let us embrace the Power of Impermanance to share, learn & grow together!

–
Namaste,
@lex Chua
http://www.iROM.org/
Your Internetional Registry of Marriage

greeting to Alex and Jamie,

its a interesting and ever horizon- expanding journey I have gone thru from yours exploration ,interactions in the postings and the unique part is you ask the pertaining question if you die today what is your regret and if eveything remain static ,nothing changes ,tranforms and evolves , what would the value of life to worth living ,your inevitability stricks me not because your speak of the inevitables ,but your enthusiam ,courage, and conviction .,and strong sense of direction to deal with the inevitables ,the morale is contagious and uninhibitive and allow people to see beyond all possibilities and gear up to change the world for the better .

lets work and share our experience of life together to keep the fire of our life and uncover layers upon layers of our wisdom in an sharing spirit ,and see our transformation journey evolving !

Change is the only thing that is permanent when you step into the univesal of all possibilities ,as you do not step into the same water of a river twice , ultimately it is the searching or change realised in within that matters , the outside enviornment serving as the catalyst or reflections is impermanent ,as it is subject to changes, deteriorations and evolvement, and the changes within shall be self sustainable on one stage or another whereby realization is beyond receiving messages or independant from interdependant of the outside world ,and from there is the reverse to interprete the phenomena from the realization within, not outside in . And that is The Absolute Independance .

May all be blessed

Amithaba

king

Greetings, Alex.

What a wonderful and vibrant pod you've created! Thank you. I knew I found kindreds when I saw the fabulous questions you and others share. Clear intention and great questions are so important as we live into our greatest joy, purpose, vision, creativity, and possibility (and enjoy the journey as much as the envisioned 'destinations'!).

Regarding one of your questions, I can't imagine things staying exactly the same, never evolving, changing, transforming. To me, the richness and joy would be dampened or lost. While it's always difficult to release what's comfortable, our greatest joy and most amazing evidence for Grace comes when we follow our intuition out of the known and comfortable and into the new.

Two of my favorite quotes come to mind:

Immanuel Wallerstein comments about the importance of embracing uncertainty in order to allow for creativity and possibility. Wallerstein says, "If everything is uncertain, then the future is open to creativity, not merely human creativity but the creativity of all nature. It is open to possibility, and therefore to a better world. But we can only get there as we are ready to invest our moral energies in its achievement."

Similarly, Deepak Chopra in The Seven Spiritual Laws of Success writes, "In detachment lies the wisdom of uncertainty … in the wisdom of uncertainty lies the freedom from our past, from the known, which is the prison of past conditioning. And in our willingness to step into the unknown, the field of all possibilities, we surrender ourselves to the creative mind that orchestrates the dance of the Universe."

Your mentor, Douglas, asked a question that helped you to take the step into the unknown and, as Rainer Maria Rilke wrote, "learn to love the questions themselves", when he asked you, "What would the Alex who's five years older tell you?"

What do we find when we 'step into the unknown, the field of all possibilities' and 'surrender ourselves to the creative mind that orchestrates the dance of the Universe'?

Sincerely,

Jamie

Isn't it amazing how what we Value & Appreciate, Appreciates in Value & Frequency? The same can be said for Possibilities & Synchronicities. Once I start to recognise & appreciate them, their frequency increased & have continued to increase. Their value increased too... edging me toward the belief in Abundance.

This post is the result of an sms I received about half an hour after the previous post...

“Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.” ~ Mark Twain

Amazing Synchronicity isn't it?

Heartfelt thanks to Georgina Lau & the Universe!

& since I'm here, I'd like to say a bit more on Possibilities & the Bleep...

What the movie did was really to whet my appetite with a taste of what is possible. In fact, it left me with an even bigger question: "What else is possible?"

In my work with students & adults, I talk about the Possibilities Seekers' Mindset as 1st & foremost being guided by always asking: "What is possible?" & then always striving to venture Beyond Possibilities by asking: "What else is possible?"

& one more thought on Synchronicity... I learnt that Synchronicities guide/lead us to our Destiny.

& also that Space make way for Possibilities... this is meant to whet your appetite... why don't you make a guess... what am I saying here? I'll elaborate on Space in a seperate post.

--
Namaste,
@lex Chua
http://www.iROM.org/
Your Internetional Registry of Marriage

Lets start with a Question/Intention: "How can I keep this post inspiring, succinct & specific?"

If I can sum up what the movie "What the Bleep Do We Know?!" did for me inone word... the word is Possibilities.

I registered my company on 26 May 2005 & started business on 06 June 2005, my last day at work in my former company.

How & why I started the business before going off to hybernate is another story...

As Synchronicity would have it, I named my company Beyond Possibilities... this was after Beyond Change & before watching "What the Bleep Do We Know?!".

The 2nd Synchronicity is related to "why I started" the business... my idea was to approach F&B distributors in Melbourne & connect them up with some F&B manufacturers from Singapore. The intention was to make up for the opportunity cost of 2 months without income.

So I logically registered Beyond Possibilities as "Business Management & Consultancy Services"... & here's the Synchronicity... there was a second choice for business description... & I chose "Professional & Management Development Training Institutions"... it turned out that the 2nd description became the main thing... this guided act caught my conscious attention only after the pilgrimage...

Now back to how Douglas helped me see clearly enough to choose to embark on this Transformation Journey… this was before I registered Beyond Possibilities.

Amidst my confusion, Douglas ask me this: "What would the Alex who is 5 years older tell you?"

That was it... short & sweet... actually I was lost for at least 5 seconds before asking for clarification... to which Douglas said: "What advice would this older & more experienced version of yourself give to the younger you, if he were to travel back in time?"

I finally got it & in that same instant, my eyes went watery... I knew that I had to go for this trip or live to regret it for the rest of my life.

What are your regrets if you were to die today?

What is your Heart's desire?

Sydney Harris said "Regret for the things we did can be tempered by time; it is regret for the things we did not do that is inconsolable."

Would you be truely Happy if everything remained exactly as they now are for the rest of your life?

Life is precious, what makes yours worth living?

Here's a paradox I happily embrace... Stephen Stills said "If you can't be with the one you love, love the one you're with."

Let me take this opportunity to clarify that it is not my intention to suggest that anyone quit their current jobs... you would already have noticed this if you had read the last 3 points in my 1st post: "What the Bleep Do We Know?!" & My Transformation Journey: Part 1

Lao-Tzu said, "A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step." In my humble opinion, this single step is often the most difficult because of the influence from our Mind/Head... & Emotions/Heart also... hmn another paradox? This would be the topic of my next post.

P.S. Please feel free to share any disagreements with my musings & please share your answers to the above questions...

Namaste,
Alex Chua

My Transformation Journey: Part 1
My Transformation Journey: Part 3
