I understand what you are saying about credit circulation and non permanent money system. I have a question about this has there ever been a permanent money system, to me money is just a form of energy that we exchange for goods and services. Its permanence is not ruely relevant since there is no permanence with anything, being wealthy and happy are mindsets they are a basis upon which outer things grow such as money, houses, vacactions etc.
I guess what I am trying to get across here is money is not even truely a physical thing the system as a whole is a metaphor of the true nature of wealth. The paper represents gold, silver and other precious medals held in a reserve as is the case with us we can have as much or as little out of that reserve as we choose. The coplexities involve the system as a whole the investments, foriegn trade, real estate, the stock and bond markets, these are only extensions of the original metaphor.

I agree with you Cheryl: We must have it all in order to be fulfilled if that is what we truly want. The LOA just allows us to know that we are our own lawgivers and if we can not accept our power and use it for greater we still are using it to create what we do got. Problem is that little old monkey mind that jumps in and says you can't be when we are declaring that we can be.----I also agree that everyone should make a study of money and who really owns all of it in the physical. This information will sicken most but in order to change it we must aknowledge where we have been deceived in order to uncreate what we have allowed to be done to our money.

Here are two less known quotes about the nature of money and banking.

"We are completely dependant on the (centralized) commercial banks. Someone has to borrow every dollar in circulation, cash or credit. If the banks create ample synthetic money (through fractional reserve system) we are prosperous; if not we starve. We are absolutely without a permanent money system...It is the most important subject intelligent persons can investigate and reflect upon. It is so important that our present civilization may collapse unless it becomes widely understood and the defects remedied very soon"

- Robert H. Hemphill, Atlanta Federal Reserve Bank, foreword to "100% Money" by Irving Fisher

"The study of money, above all other fields in economics, is one in which complexity is used to disguise truth or to evade truth, not to reveal it. The process by which banks creates money is so simple that mind is repelled."

- John Kenneth Galbraith, Economist, in his book "Money: whence it came, where it Went"

see more quotes

I dont see why anyone should have to choose between money , connections, skills or attitude I believe it possibly to have them all. I dont see anything integrated in any single one of those qualities but as a whole they seem balanced.

I really don't have any idea exactly what your perception of being 'spiritually minded' is but I can assure you that those people you are speaking about who believe that in order to be in good spiritual health one must give up the earthly pleasures all of the perceived 'non-spiritual' beings out there have aren't really getting the whole picture.

If the film The Secret gives us a peek at anything it is that there is plenty for everyone, that we ALL deserve abundance in all things and that there is no 'sin' or 'non-spiritual' aspect of having a lot of money or material possessions. It's a complete package where we get to have it all. We get the spiritual aspect of feeling good about ourselves and others, of seeing everyone else as they are in a non-judgemental way, of having the wonderful loving relationships we all need as beings to exist but we also get to have everything else, which when we work it the right way is a direct result of our 'spirituality'. When it ALL comes from a place of gratitude, knowledge we are deserving and accepting that whatever we 'are' is what we get then we begin to attract everything to us that reflects those beliefs...wealth being just one aspect of it.

It is perfectly possible and is happening with more public knowledge daily that it ALL begins in the spirit and that ALL abundance of every kind springs from spirit.

Blessings,
Cheryl

Attitude is not only the most important to have that you have listed in my opinion it is the ONLY important thing to have.

Attitude (perspective) dictates how we see everything...it can cause us to see the very same thing as negative or positive so no matter what else is going on for us our attitude is the most important tool for suvival. We can do without skills if we have the attitude that we can do ANYTHING! I won't even begin to list the things I've done in my life that most people are amazed with...I truly believe that whatever I am faced with I can handle successfully to a successful outcome and I've proven myself right over and over again. I really can do anything that I decide to do.

Education? When it comes to downright survival in an apocalyptic world, if that's what you are referring to here, then college or even school experience doesn't replace the attitude to figure out what to do even if you don't know what to do. School won't teach you to trust your primitive instincts. You must remember that our earliest ancestors didn't have any education in place to learn how to utilize fire, weapons, group associations and other things that have allowed our specie to evolve and to survive when other species didn't make it. It was attitude...they saw a need and then had the attitude that they must act or create in order to survive and most importantly that they could act and create to survive. They thought they could do anything and they did...and we still are today!

Attitude/perspective is everything it drives our emotions, our thoughts, our actions, our reactions, our intentions and our results. Plus when we change our attitude/perspective then everything changes along with it...we think differently about it, we react differently to it and we act differenly upon it.

Blessings,
Cheryl

Skills and attitude , when they come together with a specific target in mind produce money and connections in the business world. Always have ( unless the skills are faulty, and the attitude is all wrong).

I have lived enough years now to reach an understanding about people and money, and it all comes dowm to one point:

The people that have little or no money, are always the people that say money isn't all that important, and put down and criticize those that DO have money.

We live in a universe where we are "rewarded", for lack of a better term, for the effort and energy we expend. Look at ANYONE, and thier current circumstances< and you will immediately see what effort and energy they have expended to date.

After I had watched the "movie" What The Bleep Do We Know, I gained a better understanding of WHY people reap the results the reap in thier lives. We are ALL reaping the reward of our thoughts and efforts, and our thoughts (core beliefs) are the determining factor as to how much effort we will allow ourselves to put into any venture.

The wealthy have expended MORE energy and effort to achieve thier financial freedom because they BELIEVE it's possible for them to do so, than the poor man sitting on the corner decrying his lot in life because he DID NOT believe it is possible for him to do and be better than his current circumstances.

Now, if that poor man would expend HALF the energy on bettering his beliefs, as he does on criticizing the wealthy for being wealthy, he would soon be in thier company.

It's all about "being". What we are "being" is what manifests in the natural realm.

Personally, I find most people so busy being "spiritually minded" in thier relationship to this system we live in, and money in general< that they're of little earthly good when it comes time to DO good with thier money , because they have none.

I've tried being spiritually minded as I stand in the market line to get a loaf of bread, and they ALWAYS seem to desire MONEY for the bread when it comes time.

Money is a tool of exchange, which can't exist unless there are goods produced and men able to produce them. Money is the material shape of the principle that men who wish to deal with one another must deal by trade and give value for value. Money is not the tool of the moochers, who claim your product by tears, or of the looters, who take it from you by force. Money is made possible only by the men who produce. Is this what you consider evil? Continue reading...

/peter

      I love Johny Cash.

Money is just money. But we need it to live in the states that we're in.

Coming from a place of abundance is a poweful first step to acknowledging how WORTHY you are of having the basic things that get your booty around the world...

Lots of love in the new year.

K

"After centuries of calling for someone or some ritual or miracle to accomplish the impossible, Man has been unable to figure out that it must come from within his own awareness, and the empowering of himself, so that it can be accomplished. Instead, the self-empowerment urge was distorted into self-aggrandizement, and the result is seen all around you. "

The Book for NP (Chapters 33)

Rick thanks for pointing John Adams's motives. Inspite of its use to the contrary (scaring govt reps about ignorance of people) the substance and meaning of the sentence regarding ignorance still stands.

Regarding these...

So you think that money is the root of all evil. What then is the root of all money? ~Ayn Rand
Root of all money is collective belief or perception perpetuated by elite money power.

Money is neither my god nor my devil. It is a form of energy that tends to make us more of who we already are, whether it's greedy or loving. ~Dan Millman

If one understand the pernicious effect of compound interest on fiat money then money is really not that value neutral or innocently conceived. Is it?

It is a kind of spiritual snobbery that makes people think they can be happy without money. ~Albert Camus

If my basic survival needs are met with Basic Income, I am happy without money. So are many monks, mendicants, unemployeds and poors and especially children.
