And here is an introduction for Lisa Berg and what kinds of questions she is working with as we approach Women Moving the Edge. Barbara Marx Hubbard's supra-sexual co-creation idea is quite interesting and bold I find. Check it out. Lisa Berg, President of Global Bridge Productions, is a cross-culturalist, speaker, community convener and visionary. Lisa is passionate about helping people discover new ways of leading beyond boundaries during times of transition that are practical and applicable to real world issues. After living and working in Tokyo Japan for five years as a cross-cultural consultant, Lisa returned to the USA. She founded and owned the North East regional branch of International Professional Relations, a corporate training company specializing in global transition and cross-cultural best practices. Through IPR, Lisa served numerous Fortune 500 companies, helping corporate employees and their families move to a new culture with acute business skills, increased respect for cultures that differed from their own and the ability to collaborate and adjust with ease. She is the Founder and President Emeritus of International Friends, an international women's organization in the New York Metropolitan area that has provided cultural exchange and support to hundreds of women for over ten years. In both personal and business experiences Lisa has faced challenges with strength, courage and a joie de vivre that enlivens and brings people together to reveal creative solutions amidst life's most challenging situations.
Lisa's Question(s) I have been thinking about my question for WMTE. Here are some things that are inspiring me today. This one minute video came from IONS today. I am not a fan of one minute videos as I find them terribly superficial (even though I am American and we like the short version of things) This concept of supra sexual co-creation sounds intriguing, however. So I went on Barbara Marx Hubbard's website to find out more. Has anyone heard more about this? Perhaps it is part of her DVD series. Although I didn't find out more about supra-sexual cocreation , I did find the following very inspiring audio on conscious evolution where Barbara speaks of many topics including being at the threshold of becoming universal humans and what that means… I share both with you and look forward to exploring some of this with you if that seems right when we meet. http://oneminuteshift.com/videos/barbara_marx_hubbard/supra-sexual_cocreation |

Nina Williams-Thompson shares her thinking and questions as she approaches Women Moving the Edge. A Question: Is there a deeply held question, something you are seeking to better understand as we come together? A direction for you, your work, or for us as a collective or women? If so, please share that here. I was just reading your Skype call - Ria, Helen & Judy. These 2 thoughts of jumped out: ”I saw how there came a split in women and womanhood, where some women stuck to the inner feminine core and others went more with the masculine, and were willing to go there - so there was a split in women - these two types. A lot of competition between women is probably related to that.” “I'm there because I sense I need to be there. I go there with my eyes closed, I go to learn something. I don't know what.” I'd like to explore that split in women - it feels like the elephant on the table that we always pretend not to see. An area of “charge” (subconscious baggage) which is usually also a sign of huge potential learning too. Was it was a stage during which we branched out to acquire different skills and awareness of the masculine way of functioning that we can bring back…? To serve at a more integrated stage (of development)…? I have the masculine pretty strong in me - such an imperative need (like an evolutionary drive!) to go out and stand on my own 2 feet, for example - but I don't know why, and I have the feminine too, but somehow I have less confidence in it, even though I revel in the magic of being a woman, and in pregnancy, birth and motherhood, so I'm curious about this. And otherwise I'm coming because it feels right and I just want to be in that space, connecting with the buzz of “awakeness” in everyone, and in the place, and see what happens in the group and in me.
