Here we have Gaia, a great community, where we can meet great people.  Everyone has ideas, and everyone wants to make a difference.  Still, it seems we are each a puzzle piece, and together we form a complete puzzle- a better networking community.  What's different about Gaia is that this community encourages us to be a better person, and we get the type of exposure that lets us become more open minded.  People should be willing to make new friends and learn about each other.

Hector, that's an insightful observation. I enjoy the way you have come into this group with this post.

I'm still enjoying exploring all the puzzle pieces, and finding the puzzling aspects of myself!  Hope you do too.

Not only should people be willing to make new friends and learn about each other but they could really make a difference by learning to have conversations about all the big issues, sharing their ideas, and still be friends at the end of the discussion! That's what really stalls us from getting anything accomplished, in my opinion.

Gaia does give us great exposure to a wide range of beliefs. It takes us beyond borders and helps us see the bigger picture if we are really open to seeing a bigger picture! I now know I'm paying much less for gasoline then my friend, the Essentric Aussie, and now he knows it too! I am also aware now thru several other Gaians from outside the U.S. that the economic problems we're having here aren't being felt all over the world like I was being led to believe by the media.

It makes our world smaller and more like family when we meet and get to know people on all parts of the globe! I love the Gaiasphere!
