'Is' has gone from the Status Line

…not from our sentences, but from our status bar.

And there's a little story behind this that involves a few of our featured members, and showcases the workings of Gaia–and why it is such an endearing place!

 yvette said May 8, in a discussion around Gaia: The fact that I have to make it [the status] work with the verb “is” is annoying.  Most social sites with status updates did away with “is” a long time ago.  I usually write my status in Spanish & English on other sites, but I can't do that in Gaia because of the “is” and length bug.

Nicole was in that discussion, and linked that suggestion to the Think Tank Site Suggestions, where  Paul also agreed, and Siona wrote out a ticket.

And voila! The status line is now free from the limits of 'is', and we've seen how members, ambassadors and team can work beautifully together to help useful features be brought to Gaia.
