Love of Animals

Hey everyone! Suni here, posting away about my group, Love of Animals.. :)

The purpose of this group is to just.. come together with fellow animal lovers and just talk about our animals, animals in general, relationships with animals, animal rights issues, news bits, post cute pictures.. Don't know what else to say, aside from that this is a pretty laidback group! as long as you respect the other members and cite your image or story sources, it's all good :) We're all friendly animal lovers in here :)

I am the cultivator of this group.. It came about as an idea and i discussed it in another group with a myriad of other people, and i'm so glad i did because i enjoy all the wonderful people in my little group! I have AWESOME moderators: Nicole, Taikunping, Jyoti, Meenakshi, and Panda . All awesome and helpful people :)

This group is a special interest group, focusing on animals and our relationships, etc.. with them :)

Members can post their own threads, suggest new rooms, etc. I love to get input into the group. I also love when people post pictures of their animals! It brings everyone in the group so much joy :)

I have yet to run into any issues with threads. There has been no flaming or bashing or arguments. We have discussions and differing opinions, but no one is at each others throats. As I said, laidback and happy group of people. Don't animals just work wonders on the human soul? :)

I don't encourage graphic PETA postings, as i feel they push things too far sometimes, and after a bout of trauma due to seeing a PETA video, i do not wish to see PETA postings. As long as i do not see anything graphic from PETA, i tolerate it. It's really up to the members of the group what they wish to see and what they do not wish to see.. :)

there are postings everyday, either by the members or by myself, as i like to share interesting things i find around the web with my members :)

as of today, we are 92 happy animal lovers all snuggled with our animals :)

Our newest room is the Animal Art room, where members can post their personal artwork depicting animals (or animal elements.. that counts in my book) or anything they find on the internet, so long as it is properly cited :)

:) We're just a merry band of animal lovers in a little group, and we always welcome new members! doesn't matter what animal tickles your fancy, real or imaginary, arachnid or canine, we welcome you with open arms :)

Suni, how wonderful of you to get this going and oversee it so well. I'm gonna enjoy browsing. I'm overwhelmed with groups, but I bet when I get going on the Animal Friends photos and videos I want to blog about, I will end up joining.

oh my.. i'm so sorry that i am so late in replying here! i've been a busy woman. im sorry!!

OM: :) we'd love to see you over in the group! and i know how the overwhelming is.. i belong to 30 groups, so it's hard to keep up with them! i lurk more often now, seeing as how i tend to my own group first :)

MEENAKSHI: yes!! i remember that :) that put a smile on my face to see that someone else remembered as well :) and thank you for adding!! and thank you for spicing up my original post :)
