The best, and most fun travel I have experienced is in bringing people together. When I travel I want to know what THEY think, how THEIR culture, customs, religion, thinking, works. I want us to be able to visit in humility, to contribute in environmental and social ways.
Peaceful World Travel Club envisions travelers as mindful and engaged visitors. It encourages “first world” people to own their transformational first world hospitality centers, b&bs, small hotels, gathering places - and not to own “third world” ones, but to help the local people own their own and benefit from tourism while engaging the visitors.
Travelers benefit from visiting other cultures, not implants of their own culture imposed on other cultures. “Cultural and commercial imperialism.”
