Sami : social innovator, visionary

Eco? Yes! But more than that

I envision locally owned and operated small hotels, b&bs and cafes which can connect visitors with local culture, projects, architecture, schools, you name it.  Places where peace-making travelers can connect and contribute.  And their dollars go, not to corporate hotel headquarters, but the local society or bioregion.  First world B&bs (US, Canada, Europe, Australia, etc,)  can be connection points for a global network so MUCH more than they are now. They can play a big role in peace-building.

They can also help 3rd world people to own and operate b&bs in the developing countries,  providing them self employment.  They can be greatly assisted by encouraging local architectural traditions combined with ecological use of local materials.

Want to be on the team?  You are invited to send me ideas of how you can help create Peaceful World Travel Club.
