What is it? A vitamin C supplement?

It's a fizzy citrus (or a whole SLEW of other flavors from berry to ??) powder supplement that you add to a glass of water.

OK, I am gonna go grab a pack (mm, that's good :-))

in addition to 1,000 mg of vitamin C “as 7 mineral ascorbates”, the original flavor has “32 mineral complexes and B (6 & 12) vitamins”.

Whatever it is, it gives me ENERGY (without any uppers like caffeine or ginseng) and also prevents me from getting sick when I suspect that my body's caught something.

Anyway, I only use the original one, but they have varieties now that have glucosamine and chondriotin and calcium and many other supplements.

In the US you can get them at any store these days, including my beloved Trader Joes.

C is really good to use before a work out also.  I take some 30min. before a hard workout.  It helps me to keep my testosterone levels elevated in order to get the most out of my workouts.  For an anitioxident though nothing beats a good ol'apple.                                      Mainly because of the amount of photochemicals they have.  The four main phytochemicals found in apples are flavonoids and phenols; quercetin, catechin, phloridzin, procyanidin Band chlorogenic acid. The antioxidant capacity of Vitamin C pales in comparison to the ability of these phytochemicals to quench free radicals. How does the antioxidant capacity of an apple compare to the coveted vitamin C? Consider that one small apple (~100g) has the antioxidant power equivalent to 1500mg of vitamin C.

I guess the old adage about “an apple a day keeping the doctor away” really is true! What GREAT information! I have always been an apple-lover (esp. apples from New Zealand - what IS it about NZ??), so this is great to hear.

There is also one with glucosomine and chondroiten that I use - seems to help keep the old joints lubricated!
