An honor to have Brian post this on his blog!  It was such a joyful/meaningful gathering, sowing seeds of connection & world changingness.  We ate, did self-introductions that went below the surface into discussions about career, “following our bliss”, gratitude, kindness, and even sex :) and then went for a beautiful sunset beach walk.  To recognize those who came to this first gathering, here are their Zaadz profiles~

Here were the questions used during the self-introductions.  A little piece of paper was passed around - the first side was “Guided Introduction” and the other side “Optional Questions”:

Take about 5 minutes to answer the following questions.
Tip: For each question, read it out loud, then put down the paper and look at us beautiful people as you talk :-)

The Lincoln, Nebraska mini- Zaandha went well, it was just Lia Anni' & myself….we had a good talk & she took some zaadz cards & I left an ODE magazine with the coffeehouse owner Adam Hintz  (his place serves only Fair Trade coffee & he is a Daniel Quinn afficianado & he's going to check out zaadz. He has something he calls the Council of Less Harm)    Lia and I are going to try again in a couple of months, I think the other Lincoln Zaadies are mostly grad students. We also are going to go see Gehlek Rimpoche next week…a sangha follows zaangha….

reply Zaadzter Gathering TWO! - July 23 Sunday afternoon! George said Jul 12, 10:29 PM: Save the date!! We had a great time last time we got together.  Encore! :) Here's our next Bay Area Zaadzter Zaangha (Fun / Inspirational Gathering)… Sunday July 23, 3-5:30pm  3 - 3:30 arrive and chill out, have some munchies 3:30 - 4:30 guided self-introduction time using questions such as those listed in this comment.  (this facilitates deeper, more meaningful connections!) 4:30 - 5:30 a beach walk by the golden gate bridge! Location?  the beautiful Presidio.  Meet at Presidio World College, at the Southeast corner of Lincoln and Graham Blvd.  Plenty of parking!  Directions here.  Picture of our building here.  And you can take public transit (which is what I do) by taking the #43 bus.  Here is a link to help you plan your bus route!  (Put in your starting address, select the Day and arrival time, then click the “Plan your trip!” button at the bottom). In the past 2 weeks we had two Zaadz events.  The first one was a  party at my house on July 8th.  We had a great turn out.  Lots of delicious food, badminton, live music, and a great movie. 

 On the invitation to the party Steve came up with a great idea to ask everyone to bring a quote to put up on the Wisdom Wall.  This is what the wall looked like.

Last night I planned a viewing of Peaceful Warrior for the Zaadzsters in the area.  We hit a pizza place fist and discussed the movie in a local ice cream shop afterward.
