This sure sounds like a film Gaians would love. And critics are 96% thumbs up about how it's done, too.

A portrait and indictment of Big Food: how our food is farmed and processed in environmentally irresponsible, unhealthful, and cruel-to-animals ways. Probably not news to anyone here, but we hope it opens a few eyes. I foresee more and more consumers revolting against these methods, and actually making a dent in practices.

Read through the critics' comments posted at the Rotten Tomatoes review.

Blessings, OM Bastet

      I saw this on Starz last weekend and found it disturbing. One of the best of this genres. Deep dark and wonderfully sad, a perfect love story. Here's the IMDb on the film and the trailer.

I highly recommend this film. This review does it justice

      Meenakshi, among your many talents: technowizard.

Just wanted to add here in this group that ~KES entered the Kung Fu series and the two Kill Bill movies to the Gaia Films database, and started a couple of threads about Carradine there which I have added to there.

Here are some attempted links:

http://groups.gaia.com/gaia_films/345/kung-fu---the-complete-series-collection

http://groups.gaia.com/gaia_films/conversations/view/446276#446276

I don't really know how that section of Gaia works, just dipping into it. First impression, it's challenging to get around and do things. However, eventually, this group and that one (one?) will be chums.

Blessings, OM

      I totally agree. Above the physical world, it is even more true that we create our own realities, so they differ. Then again, there are a lot of shared realities, too......

Yes, as I recall, "What Dreams May Come" is one of the most accurate I have seen, besides being a heckuva great movie!!!!

It is most especially accurate about the "living hell" some experience in their 4th density identities.

Yeah, one reason I am not going to see A&D is the IMO mis-representation in the basic plot situation!!!!

And I hadn't thought of the Passion as being misrepresentation, I just avoided the gore. Interesting perspective.....

Blessings, OM

      I am deeply saddened by the going of the Grasshopper, because it has not been with the grace that I associate with his work.

But then, as I read in an article by Steve Lombardi:
=======
Would we want to see Mr. Carradine go out differently? Perhaps we would like him to have died quietly in his sleep or sitting in a rocking chair watching the sun set, but destiny may have played a part in developing the facts of the Carradine case. We may shout, I Object Your Honor! And that will be all to no avail. Because as Master and Grasshopper discussed, in life the following statements are opposite, but both are still true.

Grasshopper: What happens in a man’s life is already written. A man must move through life as his destiny wills.
Master: Yes, yet each man is free to live as he chooses.
=============

Perhaps also to die as he chooses. Who knows whether he did. I'm going to be looking at the series that I"d bought last year.

      ...the 4th Density might be described as fluid....
...our ideas are individuated so portrayals can be also...
...I believe that one picture, "What Dreams May Come" is also an accurate portrayal of 4th Density... but what translates from a movie might be different to different individuals...
...if one were a scuba diver and popped his head above surface for a moment they would have a Glimpse of the surface but would not see it all... if they went back down and communicated with others would he be able to tell of rain forests, or Saharan Deserts, or Himalayan heights ?...

as for A&D... my wife wanted to go but I already *knew* it was more misrepresentation... I wont go into detail untill others have a chance to see it...
...this is the same way I felt about the "Passion" but my wife would not have been able to drag me there...

      Hi Will, thanks for your input. I don't feel drawn to see Angels and Demons, which is kinda puzzling to me, but I go with it.

Passengers sounds really interesting. You're suggesting it is, in your view, accurate in its portrayal of how 4th density works?? That alone might make it worthwhile! An amazing number of films ARE accurate about that, but certainly many are not accurate. IMO.

Blessings, OM Bastet
