When I want to quickly find reliable and thorough detail about a movie I usually check out Wikipedia first, but there are lots of interesting places to find info on the web. I've never looked at that book you mentioned. I'm sure my local library has copies of it. |

You'd be surprised what you can find on Wikipedia. Its an amazing site. What is nice about Wikipedia entries is that it has links at the bottom of the page. The links provided will be to official sites and other sites where additional info can be found. I suppose Wikipedia wouldn't necessarily have an entry for every film, but it has a pretty extensive listing (see below).

The sites I go to are different depending on my purposes. Wikipedia is good for general information, but it doesn't offer the extensive reviews of sites that are dedicated to that purpose such as Rotten Tomatoes, IMDb, Metacritic, and Allmovie. |
