  Stacy : too real

Hello all!

Stacy said Apr 8, 2007, 7:19 AM:

I’m Stacy…

I started reading Kabbalah close to a year ago. The therapist I was working with had been reading several books and suggested I read. Right away I realized it just “made sense,” you know?

The book that really got to me was “The Monster is Real.” The symptoms of OCD are something I’ve struggled with for a long time. Reading about how FEAR is just an “illusion” has really made a difference for me.

I wear the red string… I work toward keeping my-self in the 1%… I share as much as I can… I try to spread love, love, LOVE!!

Oh… Besides all that, I’ve been married for 15 years; I’m the BLESSED mom of a WONDERFUL 9-year old boy; and a graphic designer and high school dance team coach for work… OH, and… I’m just me. :)

Nice to meet you all… Let’s talk Kabbalah. ;)

hi stacy, catherine, david and david!

huh. three davids. why am i NOT suprised.

im a dude who oscillates between inane humour and overly-serious analysis. i consider myself an analytic communicator but actually a rather intuitive observer. i like sardines. i love my friends. i love nature above everything.

i joined this pod because daibhidh started it, because catherine joined it, because the zohar affected my thinking profoundly (even though i dont recall the stories anymore) and because i never really explored the zohar as deeply as maybe would have been yummy.

hugs all around,
david

Yes!

Welcome one and all.

Stacy, Catherine and the two Davids other than myself!

Thank you for taking the time and consideration into exploring the Kabbalah with me -I dearly look forward to all that will pass between us here.

We seem to have arrived at this pod for vastly similar reasons -mainly the inspiration granted to us by a former study of the Zohar.  -I am on the same page as yourself David (Axiom) when you say that you find it difficult to remember or maintain the narrative of the stories.  We shall work on that together!

Cheers!

Hi Stacy, Catherine, David, David and Daibidh,
I am honored to be invited to this pod and I would like to thank Daibidh for starting it.  I am Samme and I am also greatly interested in the Kabbalah aside from many other disciplines and spiritualities.  I have the complete set of Zohar and working my way through it.  I bought several books, CDs and DVDs from the Kabbalah Centre which I would love to share in the coming months.  I look forward to learn from everybody here.  Greetings to all and to future members.
humble bows,
Samme

Thanks for the invitation!

My name is Eve. I've been involved in esoteric studies for over 30 years, mostly Tantra, through my guru, Ganesh Baba, and sacred geometry through a long-standing friendship with Dan Winter and others. Through my work at Pacifica Graduate Institute, I began to study alchemy, and through Alice O. Howell and Richard Tarnas, I am studying astrology. More recently I've been working with the Tetraktys, the teaching tool of  Pythagoras. What drew me here, though, is that I am taking an 8 week course in Kabbalah beginning on Monday.

What I find exciting about all these systems is their commonality.

I'm glad to find others u=interested in such arcane stuff!

Thanks for the invite guys.  I'm not so much into the Kabbalah as interested in its models and representations.  I may enjoy “listening in” to the dialogues…

Always a pleasure….

jaBuddha
