Here, for the benefit of those who may not have access to speakers or headphones -or indeed may not have the time to watch this introductory video in its entiriey, is a brief transcribed summary of what is asked and what is answered in lesson 1.
What is an apt definition of the Kabbalah? The Kabbalah is a mystical and esoteric explanation of the Torah. In the Torah, all the secrets of creation (and how God governs thus) are hidden in the stories we read in the bible, in code form. In the Torah, everything is coded. There are hidden messages of how God’s presence is manifested in the world. This is the Kabbalah. Kabbalah is a system that helps us understand how god influences and helps us understand how the energies come down from the higher worlds to the lower worlds. It explains to us the reason of creations; why and how this world and the one above it were created, systematically. It explains to us how the systems are taking place; the systems of directional guidance and of influence. What is our role in that? To receive this knowledge one has to first be ready and be able to receive and keep this knowledge. Kabbalah requires you to have and maintain a certain way of life: A life of cleanliness and purity: an active way of life. Once we start learning the system of Kabbalah we will pray differently, study differently and look at things differently – but why? All our life is changed. We are no longer in a relationship with those simply next to us, but with those and that which is above, and the energy of comprising there forth. We establish this communication and recognise that everything we do has a purpose, and this purpose is to do something in the upper worlds, so something can come back to us here. It is complex. It is not easy. To participate actively Kabbalah requires study and observation: the will to serve the greater mass of possibilities. With this focus of mind, we may approach the Kabbalah. Shalom.
