Zaadz works by providing a means for us to first be of service to each other. It creates a connecting point from which we may draw fuel to further our intentions to be of benefit to the world at large, and the world within our reach. There's no reason a group of like-minded, well-intentioned folks engaging in meaningful conversation over slices of pizza can't be classified as service. When else do we meet to share dreams, ideas, goals or initiate plans? The Net is just a gate leading to what comes next. I chose 09.15.07 to toss out an idea because it was the officially declared "zaangha day" and no one else had anything firm. I had no time to plan anything elaborate, but just went with the movie idea (I really am aching to see it :). No worries to those who can't make it - I wish you all well! Hi Laurie, thank you for taking the initiative to set up a get together! I'm on call with my work so I do not have a set schedule, so for me it will have to be tentative. So if I'm able to make it, I would meet up with you guys after the movie.

Here's my proposal: I'm aching to see 3:10 to Yuma - would love to share it with you zonies. Let's meet for the 4PM matinee Saturday afternoon, then grab a bite together after the show. I suggest heading across the street to Sauce for yummy pizzas/salads/conversation! If you can't make the movie, then you can still show up for noshing around 6PM. Joshua and AZ friends - it's great to see some activity here in the Zaangha. I'm not sure who you're addressing as Rev. Zen - is that our own Zencowboy? Or ....? Here's the way things work best: when you have an idea for a meetup, set the date and time and place and rally everyone to come. So, Joshua, if you've got the idea and the time and the place, just post it. I recommend starting a new thread with the event in the Title so it's easy to identify.
