saturday feb 28 is the firemens chile cookoff. It will be on Washington st. between 1st and 4th ave. It goes from 11am -7pm.
My band will be playing there from 3:30-6:30. It costs $10 to get in but they will give you $10 in coupons for food and drinks. See you There. Craig

Then you will want to visit the Border Animal Rescue Fundraiser and Mardi Gras Doggie Fashion Show on Sunday.

Sure
to be a hoot this fun event will feature a Doggie Fashion Parade, and
owners can dress up too! There will be refreshments, raffles and
prizes. I hear the raffle prizes include a full dental exam and xrays
worth over $100!! I've offered up some intro coaching sessions, and I
bet there are lots of other really fabulous items.

Taking place at Central School Project (in collaboration with an art opening I think), this event runs from 1-4PM, with the doggie parade happening at 2:30PM.

The Fair Trade Cafe in Downtown Phoenix is hosting a month long exclusive exhibition of fair trade fine art from around the world, including Aboriginal art from Australia, paintings and oil rubbings from Guatemala, Huichol Yarn Paintings from central Mexico and much more - see http://azfairtrade.com for more details.

On Monday, 1st December I will be at the cafe all day giving a personal tour of the exhibits to invited guests. If any Gaia members would like to be included please feel free to come along and make yourselves known to me and I would be delighted to include you.

If you cannot make Monday the exhibition will run throughout December. There are also plenty of fair trade craft items for sale as well, so come on down - we would love to see you. Make your holiday purchases extra special by buying fair trade - there's a story with every piece!

I have the event for you! I am the guest hostess for an exciting and ongoing Harmonizing with Humanity event. On Saturday, December 20, 2008, we will be having the first of many Harmonizing Café open mics. What does that mean for you?

Please join us for this amazing launch of Harmonizing with Humanity's House Concert Series! Folks from both coasts will be flying in for this magical event hosted at Jodi Floyd's gorgeous desert home. This will be an amazing night of inspiration, music and fun featuring Faith Rivera.

As you know I will be special guest, but you are in for a treat because we will also have Paul Hoffman (co-founder of Humanity Unites Brilliance /HUB & SuccessSongs Composer! He will be flying in from L.A. to share his incredible music & presence!

Positive Music Artist, Craig Haley (my buddy), has graciously offered to join us on a few tunes as well & we'll make sure to save a spot or two for an impromptu jam from any other visiting artists!

Martha I hope to see you there : ) I will go there next weekend. Really. I did not know about this place and I am absolutely excited by Phoenix downtown. I know... i hate when they say: eee phhhee there is nothing in phoenix just weeds and cookie cutter subdivisions. COMPARING TO what? LA? NY? Milano? Well lets don't tell those folks what they are missing, because downtown phx is fun place (and a few square miles of fantastic opportunities) and i am going to enjoy it , enjoy az for as long i will live here. How much more exciting it is than complaining about the weather and how much more intellectual are conversations in san fran (i heard it too). Jasper, thanks for sharing.
