  Stuart : Student of Love

Prescott / Prescott Valley

Stuart said Dec 30, 2006, 11:56 AM:

Greetings and Blessings to everyone!

My name is Stuart Peterson and I reside in Prescott Valley.

The Tri-City area as it is known is made up of Prescott, Prescott Valley, and Chino Valley. Other local towns include Humboldt, Dewey, Mayer, Paulden, and Corde Junction all of which are relatively close by. Elevation averages 5000 feet and temperatures can range from below freezing, to triple digits, but generally averages in the high 70's to low 80's.

Small town atmosphere is definitely in effect here (sidewalks rollup at 5:00 P.M. in most cases) though the traffic can feel like being in Phoenix due to growth and rural roads. Cultural events are sponsored, on a much smaller scale that metropolitan areas, but include a theatre company in Prescott, some small museums, lots of fine little locally owned shops full of curious nick nacks and brick'o'brack. Employment is primarily service oriented, and, with the majority of the local populace being retired (or locating here for that purpose). There are numerous geographic interests nearby for outdoor enthusiasts and the population base is still small enough for the smog issue to still be related primarily to smog migration from the southern metroplex areas.

Personally, this spirit is willing to host / co-host a Zaanghas here in whatever setting is agreed upon by the participants from outdoors, the mall, to the local coffee shop. Set in central Arizona, this spirit feels the location would be ideal for state gatherings as literally a middle ground in terms of location.

This spirit looks forward to hearing, sharing, and growing with all of the other wonder filled spirits here at Zaadz.
